Looking for an educational adventure? You and your little one can explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities, stories, sensory experiences, and more!
Tiny STEAMers create, experiment, investigate, and learn together. This program is not only a wonderful learning resource for children but also a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to surround themselves with support.
Classes will be offered on the third Friday of every month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Please see our schedule below. The class size is limited to 12 children.
Tiny STEAMers offers state-of-the-art, quality programming centered around introducing STEM concepts for children ages 2 - 5 years old. Tickets include admission to the class and museum for 1 child and 1 adult. Caregivers need to check in at the ticket booth before going to the 3rd floor. Class participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before class.

Tickets can be purchased at the door if space permits. The cost for (1) child and (1) caregiver is $25, which includes the class and a stay-and-play wristband to explore the museum after class.
Inclement weather policy: Discovery World on Market will follow Wood County Schools for 2-hour delays and closings for inclement weather. If Wood County Schools has a 2-hour delay, Tiny STEAMers will start one hour later.

Calling Little Bakers! Join us for a sweet time while we explore the science behind baking. Tiny STEAMers will explore fizzy apple experiments, create their one-of-a-kind apron, and enjoy a themed sensory activity.

New Instructor - Samantha Suggs, BACHELOR’S in Social Work and background in Early Childhood DeveLOPMENT
Samantha is a mother of a beautiful two-year-old little girl with a passion for teaching little minds. As a mother, she is always exploring new ways to teach her daughter about STEM and supporting her developmental milestones. Samantha is excited to foster a safe place for caregivers and children to learn together.

Kathy is a retired elementary school teacher, a mother, and a grandmother with a lifelong passion for molding young minds. Kathy strives to cultivate a love of reading and creativity for children at the museum. She has been leading story time and special projects in our Design Studio for over a year.
