  • Memberships to Discovery World on Market are good for one year from the time of purchase.

  • STEP 1:

    Beginning April 1st through the end of April during public hours*, stop by Discovery World on Market to renew your membership. Click here to view our hours of operation when we are open to the public: Museum Hours and Location — Discovery World on Market (dwonmarket.org)

    If you have a membership card, please bring it with you to turn in.

    Bring your ID and be prepared to fill out a brief membership form.

    STEP 2:

    Purchase your new membership from our business office window either with cash or a debit/credit card. NO personal checks.

    Family memberships are $150 and include 2 adults and up to 4 children in the same household. Grandparent memberships are $100 and include 2 adults and up to 4 grandchildren. Additional family members can be purchased for $25/each. (For example, if you and your spouse have 5 children, you will pay $175 for your membership.)

    Memberships are good for a year from the date they are purchased with unlimited visits.

    STEP 3:

    NO membership card will be issued at the time of renewal of your new membership. Instead, at your next visit, plan to show your ID card /driver’s license when visiting the museum. This will be the new process for checking members into our system every time you visit.

    *If you received this email and you are NOT a member, please forward this email onto the person/s you purchased a Discovery World on Market Membership for.

    You will have the opportunity to renew April 1st through April 30th. If you do not renew during that timeframe, you will have to wait until memberships open for sale in the summer.

  • Adults: $9; Children up to 16 years old: $10; Children 2 and under: Free; Senior Citizens: $8; School Groups: $5/per person.

  • Our exhibit space & play experiences are designed for both you and your child to play, learn and enjoy together.

  • For the safety of our guests, we do not allow adults without children, or children without adults into the museum to play. Unaccompanied adults may tour the musuem IF a staff member is available to accompany them.

  • Discovery World on Market recognizes our community contains many non-traditional and special needs families and the design process of our exhibits will develop experiences that are accessible to all, including those with unique sensitivities or children who attend with non-traditional caregivers.

  • Yes, there will be changing tables in our restrooms that are located on each floor of the museum. There are also family restrooms on 3 of the levels of the museum.

  • Yes. Not only does Discovery World on Market have family restrooms with power outlets, but we also have (2) Mamava Lactation Pods onsite, one located on the first floor and one on the second floor.

  • Strollers are allowed in the museum but we encourage you to leave your stroller in the car if you can. If you need to bring a stroller, we have stroller parking available on the first floor of the museum.

  • No outside food is permitted inside the museum except for guests who have booked a birthday party in our Discovery Zone room or students on field trips. The Café is located on the 2nd floor of the museum and has many grab & go options to refuel for more playtime. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of Discovery World on Market if you wish to eat off-site.

  • At Discovery World on Market, the well-being of our guests is always our priority. We take great care to ensure the cleanliness of our space and train our staff on the practices and procedures that help keep the museum safe, clean, healthy, and fun space for all. Your safety is always our top priority, and our day-to-day cleaning procedures are extensive. Our staff engages in extensive, museum-wide safety and cleaning practices including washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting before we open, during the day, and after we close to the public. This is our practice every day at Discovery World on Market, not just during flu season or when illnesses affect our community.

  • Fun Makers are museum volunteers who assist our visitors in having the best time at Discovery World on Market. You will find them stationed throughout the museum wearing FUN MAKER name badges.

  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside Discovery World on Market, with the exception of service dogs specially trained to assist disabled persons.

  • A corporate membership offers less recognition than a sponsorship and no tax benefits. Businesses and organizations become members so that their employees get the benefit of enjoying the museum’s offerings, whereas businesses who sponsor are more interested in the philanthropic nature of sponsorship and the accompanying public recognition.

  • Your membership benefits are available for one year. After Hours tickets and day passes will expire on the date indicated on each pass (no less than one year from when you pledge or pay your gift).

  • You must bring a physical corporate membership card or a complimentary museum ticket with you when visiting the museum. Contact your company’s representative to pick up the card you need prior to your visit.

  • No, you must present the corporate membership card when you visit.
