May 3rd Tiny STEAMers
Join us for Tiny STEAMers on Friday, May 3rd from 9:30 - 11 am to explore and learn about bugs. Program features story time, a hands-on STEAM activity, weekly themed craft, snack and extra time to stay and play at the museum! DIY Your Own Lightsaber
Calling all Star Wars fans! Register your child today to make their very own Lightsaber in our Makerspace. Our Jedi will learn how we use technology to print and assemble their very own Lightsaber. Cost is $50 per Lightsaber. Class will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 10am - Noon and again from 2 - 4 pm in our Makerspace. Recommended for children over 8 years of age; children under 8 years will need an adult helper. No REFUNDS will be issued. Register!
Izzy's Kids Club - Special Edition
Join us for a special edition of Izzy's Kids Club...extended version! We have an out-of-this-world experience planned for our Club members! Our evening will include Galaxy science experiments, DIY Solar System & STEM Space Lander, a pizza dinner with special snack. Cost is $35 for 1 child; $60 for 2 children and $95 for 3 or more from the same family. Space is limited as this event will be partnering with Downtown PKB's Taste of Parkersburg as a drop-off event exclusively for kids! NO refunds will be issued if child is unable to attend. Imagination Gala Tickets
Join us for this exclusive VIP Fundraising Event to support Discovery World on Market. Each Imagination Gala ticket includes one free drink ticket, complimentary heavy hors-d'oeuvres and a delicious dessert bar. A suggested donation cash bar will be available as well. Gone Fishin' Class
Join Discovery World on Market celebrate Father’s Day with this hands-on activity. Class includes a presentation on the science behind fishing, demonstrations and teaching participants how to make their own bamboo fishing pole and fishing lures. Class is Friday, June 14th from 5 - 7 pm at the First Baptist Church Multipurpose Room (813 Market Street)

Izzy's Birthday Celebration
Free with admission to the museum. Join us to celebrate Izzy's Birthday at Discovery World on Market! Several vendors will be set up on mezzanine showcasing their businesses and free birthday cookies are provided, courtesy of Crown Decor& Gifts, in celebration of Izzy's big day! Hands-on activities, tours of our birthday party room and information about all our classes and programs. You can even sign up that day for a class! We hope to see you there!

Earth Day Activities
Join us this Sunday from 1 - 3 pm at Discovery World on Market along with our community partners at the Wood County Solid Waste Authority for our Earth Day activities.
Maker Challenge
In place of the evening Maker Mondays, over 4 weeks, STEAMers will design, build and test a new museum experience! The challenge is simple: create a unique STEM-based, tabletop Discovery World on Market exhibit that will be featured in the museum for all to enjoy! Students may work in teams if they choose to. Cost is $60 per child.
June 1st projects will go on display! *Most materials will be provided, unless students want to bring in their own, special supplies. No refunds will be issued and space is limited to the first 10 registrations.
Izzy's Superhero Kids Club
Join us for our Izzy's Kids Club on Friday, April 12th from 5 - 7:30 pm for some Superhero Science Experiments, learn how to make rubber band powered cars, explore a fun decoder activity, enjoy a yummy snack and more! Cost is $25 per child. Recommended for children ages 5 - 12 years of age. NO refunds will be issued if unable to attend.

Spring Break STEM Camp
Join us during Spring Break for STEM Camp!
Recommended for children in grades 1st - 6th. Children will explore hands-on STEM concepts in our Makerspace and other activities in a safe and collaborative environment.
Camp will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am - Noon, March 25, 27 and 29th.

Science Saturdays with Chemours
Join us on Saturday, March 23rd for Chemours Science Saturday! Discovery World on Market is teaming up with STEM experts from Chemours to bring hand-on learning to life with demonstrations!
The program will be held in our Discovery Zone Room and is best suited for 3rd through 6th graders. Chemours chemist and board member Leo Lech will be performing fun science demonstrations and teach the kids all about STEM!
**SOLD OUT** Izzy's Kids Club: Color Blast!
Join us on Friday, March 22nd for our next kid's club event. During Izzy's Kids Club, we will explore the science behind rainbows, make homemade playdough, enjoy some colorful treats, and compete in a rainbow scavenger hunt! Cost is $20 per child. Recommended for children ages 5 - 12 years of age. NO refunds will be issued if unable to attend.
Tinker Tuesday (5pm-7pm) 7-12 yrs Old
This evening session is for participants 7 - 12yrs old! Join us for "Tinker Tuesday" in the Makerspace while you learn how to design and make your own custom t-shirt. Using fairly inexpensive tools, you’ll learn how custom designs are made, make your own, and put that design on your own shirt.
Bring a plain cotton t-shirt and some creativity!
